Elsa Sevilla is a Journalist, Filmmaker, Cultural Historian, and Executive Director for Historic Places on KPBS.
She is a three-time Emmy Nominated, and Multi-Award winning professional for her work with KGTV-10, KPBS-TV, and Sevilla Productions.
She is the Creator, and Host of “Historic Places with Elsa Sevilla" and "San Diego's Antiques". Both shows focus on San Diego's diverse history.
Elsa, and husband & business partner, Guillermo Sevilla, created Historic Places for KPBS-TV and founded Sevilla Productions which provides a variety of video production and public relations services. They have produced 85-documentaries for KPBS-TV. Elsa has received the NAWBO and the San Diego Union-Tribune Women in Business Awards. Currently, she is a Governor for the National Academy of Television, Arts & Sciences, and passionately volunteers with MANA de San Diego since 1998.
Guillermo Sevilla has received numerous accolades, including Multi-Emmy, San Diego Press Club, Society of Professional Journalist Awards among other recognitions for his work as Director of Photography, Director, Photo-Journalist, and Editor. Guillermo has traveled extensively and helped produce local, national, and international content for KGTV-10 and KPBS-TV. He has covered countless News & Television stories in the past 32-years. Guillermo is also the Creator, Director of Photography, Producer, and Editor for Historic Places on KPBS. He is also a member of SAG-AFTRA, NATAS - The National Academy of Television, Arts & Sciences, and NPPA - The National Professional Photographer Association.
